Some visiting this site may not know what an eCigarette is or much about them. We hope to answer your questions as well as some basic information on setting up your new PacificeEcig.com eCigarette.


Why eCigarettes?
eCigarettes were created as an alternative to tobacco cigarettes. For many, giving up the experience of smoking is not desirable or easily possible, or you are simply looking for a alternative to tobacco smoke.

While it is easy for a person of average intelligence to make obvious comparisons between ecigs and conventional tobacco cigarettes, we are prevented from doing so by complex and often contradictory laws and regulations.  So, if you are in need of additional comparison data, we invite you to visit the various Forums on the internet - that contain loads of valuable information about these revolutionary products.

What is an eCigarette?
eCigarettes are built using 1) a small, safety modified protected battery, which generates the energy to lightly heat the liquid that will be vaporized. 2) An atomizer that contains the element warmed by the battery and that will heat the liquid, and then 3) a cartridge that contains a filling that is saturated with the eLiquid and is the mouthpiece to your eCigarette.

eLiquid contains liquid nicotine and generally some sort of flavoring in a base of Propylene Glycol (PG) or Vegetable Glycerin (VG).

How do you put together your eCigarette?
When you remove the eCigarette from your package, you will see the three different pieces (battery, atomizer, cart), a charger and cord, and a packet of extra cartridges or carts.

Screw the battery to the atomizer and initially use and attach the EMPTY cart that comes on the atomizer in shipping. Voila, you have put it together!

Prepping your new eCig:
VERY IMPORTANT: You will first want to burn off the factory eliquid that has been placed on the atomizer for protection during shipment. Do this by using the empty cart and taking a series of draws WITHOUT inhaling. We recommend up to 5 or 10 draws without inhaling to make sure the liquid is fully burned off.

Drawing: If your battery is a manual battery, there will be a button on the side. Push in the button while slowly but firmly inhaling over a 5 second period, then release the button.

Battery Charging:
You will have two batteries in your box so screw one into your charger and plug the charger into the wall. It is best to let this charge for at least 10 hours before using. We usually use the other battery for a couple of hours right off the bat before having to charge it. They usually come with a light initial charge.
